Iowa Valley Jr - Sr High School Bulletin for Tuesday, March 19, 2024

Your weekly Kindness Club challenge is to invite a friend to hang out during our early out.


Students - Please make sure that your chromebooks are fully charged before coming to school. Students in grades 7-11 will be taking ISASP tests starting tomorrow and some will be testing on chromebooks!


DRIVER'S EDUCATION INFORMATIONAL MEETING

There is a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, April 20th at 6:00 PM in the auditorium for all students that signed up for Driver's Ed and at least one parent/guardian must attend. Please bring any extracurricular schedules you may have or dates of conflict to assist with scheduling driving times with you to the meeting. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Thiessen.


Attention all sophomores – If you are interested in being a prom server on Saturday, April 20th, please email or sign up with Mrs. Pieper. You have all received an email with an explanation of duties involved. Servers are allowed to attend the After Prom activities.


The JH Dance will be held Saturday, April 13th from 6-8pm. Admission is $2. No students outside of Iowa Valley are allowed. Please see Mrs. Pieper with any questions.


Reminder, Freestyle wrestling practice resumes this Wednesday at 5:30 PM and Friday morning at 6:30 AM. See Coach Kriegel with any questions.


There will be a quick meeting on Monday, April 25th, during Tiger Enrichment in Coach Kriegel's for any girl grades 7-11 interested in going out for wrestling. If you are not able to attend the meeting see Coach Kriegel before Monday.


Prom is Saturday, April 20th.

Every junior and senior student MUST complete and turn in a Dinner, Grand March, and After Prom party attendance form. Even if you choose not to attend all three, you still MUST fill out a form and turn it into Mrs. Pieper. These forms are available beginning today. Forms can be picked up in the office or outside of Mrs. Pieper’s room. Forms are due back to Mrs. Pieper by April 5th.

All juniors planning on attending prom and did not sell 2 coupon books, MUST pay the $15 ticket fee. Any junior or senior student bringing a prom date who is not an IV junior or senior, fill out the form for their date and pay the ticket fee. There is no fee for IV seniors. Checks can be made out to “IV Booster Club”. Ticket fees are due to Mrs. Pieper by April 5th.
