Iowa Valley Jr - Sr High School Bulletin for Friday, September 19, 2025

Students riding the bus home after the parade today need to be back at the school by 2:50 PM.
Attention students in grades 7–8:
If you'd like to sign up for Mini Cheerleader Classes and Performance, stop by the office to pick up a form. Practices will be held September 30th through October 2nd from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, and the performance will be on Friday, October 3rd at 6 PM at the track. Forms are due back to the office by Friday, September 19th.
The IV Music Department will be hosting a free will donation breakfast this Saturday 9-11:30 AM in the cafeteria. After the breakfast stay for the Iowa Valley Distinguished Alumni & Outstanding Service Award Ceremony 10:30 AM to noon. Building tours for families, alumni, and community members are 9 AM to 10:15 AM and 12:00 - 1:00 PM.
Junior High Homecoming Dance
The Junior High Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, September 27th from 7–9 PM in the auditorium. Admission is $5 per person at the door. Students must be academically eligible to attend, and no students from outside Iowa Valley will be allowed. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Thiessen or Mrs. Behrens.
HOMECOMING ACTIVITIES FOR FRIDAY
9:30 AM Powder Puff at the football field. Community is invited to attend. 10:45 AM Mighty Muscles volleyball in the high school gym. Community is invited to attend. 2:30 PM Parade 3:00 PM Pep assembly in the park 7:00 PM Football game with queen coronation at half time.

Want to be part of a fun, hands-on group? SkillsUSA is meeting in Mr. Shoemaker's room on Wednesday, Sept. 24th during Tiger Enrichment! All high school students are welcome—just make sure to sign up in Adaptive Scheduler if you're curious about joining and want to learn more.
If you would like to sign up to participate in Sam's 5K Fun Run on Saturday, October 18th, stop by the office to pick up a registration form. The cost is $25 per person. Participants who register by October 1st will receive a free t-shirt.
